My father was also a huge fan and I grew up hearing his amazing voice. I never understood his songs but I sure knew every word. When I walked into a restaurant this afternoon and was greeted by a television saying he had passed away, for a moment, I felt like my father had died all over again. I think partly because they looked so similar.

I wonder who he left his eyebrows to? Stipe?

Well, it was no Goodburger.

There's a couple others that died in 2007 that I had no idea about until just awhile ago when I was looking at this looking back page on MSN of celebs that died.

Sad. I wasn't a fan of his style of opera but he was a star and brilliant.
