i usually don't see colors because i'm not a fucking mental patient. but when i listen to the first garbage album i see healing blue light in an otherwise dark room.

the fragile make me see green against a lovely purple sky i always associate with paris (i'm beating off) and i sometimes smell burnt wires, hair or the old shed.

all of madonna's immaculate collection hits used to make me see cream soda red pink, but only because ray of light seemed ginger ale colored to me.
but with madonna it's not so much seeing colors as it is drowning in them and it might have had more to do with bubbles. but i haven't felt that way about madonna in a long time anyway.

no colors for erotica, but i always feel cold when i listen to it.

"Oh!" by Sleater-Kinney is hot pink. most of Feist's music is bluish greeny to me. and now that I think about it, "Siva" by Smashing Pumpkins could be a real scary flame-crimson. and "Warning" by Incubus is the color of morning sunlight

once when I was high "I Like Fucking" by Bikini Kill sounded like an orange sherbet smoothie.

All of Sleater-Kinney's 'The Woods' makes me see dark gray. In a good way. Some of the songs (like What's Mine Is Yours) make me absolutely lost in whatever I'm doing. It just reminds me of a dark storm.

Listening to America's Sweetheart made me see red, I can assure you. Gutting.

every layer of sound, guitar, whatever, i saw colors, neon stuff.
so glorious
wish i could duplicate that experience

Were I a stoner, I would shoegaze to teh maxx0rs! I suppose Nowhere probably makes me see blue, but I imagine the album cover has something to do with it. I do get sea type images when I listen to it. And whenever I go down the estuary in the town I live, I see waves that remind me of the one on the cover.
Souvlaki? I'd expect to see yellow, I have to admit.

i get the colour thing. all music has colour/s, i just normally cant describe it.

speaking of colors and madonna, one of the first times i ever smoked pot, i was in bed with the radio on and "bedtime Story" came on, and I proceeded to see a psychadelic swirl of colors on my wall that went along to the music, with one eye (like on the dollar bill) in the middle that would appear and re-appear. at the end of the song, the eye winked at me and everything disappeard.
