| | | Björk This is basically just for discussion, and being a new-ish fan, I need one!
Does anyone know if she's filming the video for Innocence or if she's just gonna release it how the people submitted it?
And I read today on her forums that Wanderlust is the next single, what happened to Declare Independence? |

| | | well i know she met the people who did the video - the mwc said on the website that the submitted video was now the "official video", but who knows.
nowhere has it been confirmed that wanderlust is the next single - the video was shot this month, while declare independence was done quite a while back (in may, i think). so i imagine wanderlust will follow after declare independence. |

| | I assume that's different from the movie video. Dancer In The Dark is one of my favorite movies
Selmasongs is such a great album, as well. I wish they would've included the final song Selma sang, or My Favorite Things |

| | | selmasongs was her vision for the music. the music that actually appeared in the movie was tweaked by von trier - part of the reason there was tension between them.
the webeo was hyped for so long because a lot of people didn't see it. those of us who did tried to warn everyone that it wasn't actually that interesting. it was designed to be "interactive", but with year 2000 internet you basically moved a bubble around pictures of her. similar things exist for pagan poetry and cocoon, i think. |

| | | so were songs like My Favorite Things and the Final Song (dont know the name) von Trier's work and not Bjork's? |

| | | well my favorite things is from the sound of music (i assume you know this?). both of those songs were sang live during the filming and weren't properly recorded, so that's probably why they were left off. |

| | | debut, usually. it's the one that's consistently been in my cd player since i've had it. runners up are vespertine and medulla. i don't listen to homogenic all that often but i have played it a few times lately since i bought a new turnable and wanted to hear it off the 180g vinyl. i have to be in the right mood to listen to pretty much everything but debut.
honestly i find myself listening to (and liking) the sugarcubes and kukl more than her solo work most of the time. |

I like it though, I love read what his opinion on Bjork/her work is, because it's basically spot on.
Homogenic is my favorite as well. I think it's her most consistently great album (not to denote her others, but they drop off at places for me). |

Yes, I know this is the ultimate shameful useless contribution to come up with, but not like I truly knew much apart from her discography... |

| | | Medulla was the first one I ever bought. I don't even remember why, because I'd always heard of her, but never really listened to her.
So I just found myself loving it, especially Who Is It, and I ended up buying all her albums in like 2 weeks. Would you say Gling Glo is worth buying? |

i can upload it for you, it's got some good remixes on it. the live boxset is wonderful too.
