| | | stripped or back to basics? which do you think has the greater amount of good songs? i like the singles i've heard from stripped, but i like the idea of back to basics better. although i abhor that candyman song. surely there's better stuff on there.
i'm going to be less of a snottish fuck after suddenly being struck by the greatness of nelly furtado.
nelly furtado has always had one really great single on all her albums. like a song i actually get into, which isn't even guarenteed with artists i'm religious about.
'turn out (off?) the lights' from the first one. 'try' from her second one. and 'say it right' from the latest album. |

| | | stripped has killer singles. some of the album tracks pale in comparison though, except for "cruz" and "makeover". |

| | | neither. Her only song I like is Fighter, and that's mainly because of Floria Sigismondi, the only one who has made Aguilera look interesting, and make no mistake about it, the Fighter video is 50,000% Floria Sigismondi. So I can't even say it's a Xtina video, no, it's a Floria video and all her other videos pale in comparison to Fighter, that's how lame she is.
Let me see, I've only heard the back to basics singles wich were dreadful and the imagery, I mean she cleaned the floor with Marilyn Monroe, God bless her soul, but I've heard she did some totally retro songs, I think they would be interesting, specially if they are like the "I've got trouble trouble trouble" part on her video, that sounded good, but I can't be bothered. I'd rather listen to Wino who has some very old fashioned tunes but they sound totally modern and you listen to the songs and they are coming from the dark depths of a profound soul, not the vapid Aguilera soul.
Whatever. |

| | UH. FUCKING STRIPPED.
i'll even go as far to say that if she doesn't slut it up in the next record, she's done in my book. i hate this marilyn shit. this whole mariah-carey-with-soul shit is grating.

Same director, big dresses, pins and all. I love me some GA but I'd think the director would change it up a little. |

| | | I can never decide. Its two completely different sides of her. Stripped is more upbeat and fun where Back to Basics is more reserved? I don't know how to describe that one really. |

| | | stripped for sure. i absolutely loved it. ive only heard the singles from back to basics and that was enough for me.
this is not relevent at all but when she was on tour in australia she was driven around by a chaffeur my friend knows and apparently shes a total bitch. she wanted the air conditioning turned down so instead of just asking the driver she sent him a TEXT MESSAGE!!! the chaffeur was so far beneath her that she wouldnt even talk to him. so yeah im beginning to not like her at all |
