The Knife

I've just found out about them! I listened to a few random songs and I really like it, especially "You Take My Breath Away":

ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

I'm currently downloading their whole "Deep Cuts" album.

So, anyone else like them too? Let's share.

I love the Knife! They are pretty excellent and Deep Cuts is the shit. Also Silent Shout is very good as well. I've been addicted to them for a few years now! I have to say I'm a populist and this is my favorite tune:

YouTube - Heartbeats - The Knife

Sorry, my attempt at embedding sucked...

The Knife is one of those bands that pretty much everyone likes here.
Sweden that is. Their home.
I mainly listen to their 'easier access' songs, if you understand what i mean, since it's not normally my type of music. They are quite genius.
My favourite song of theirs is 'Pass This On'<3
Heartbeats and You take my Breath Away do come pretty close though.

If you like Knife you might also like Honey is Cool (-with Karin Dreijer) and maybe also The Concretes.

Or Röyksopp. Karin sang vocals on their "What Else is There" single which is one of my favorites. Gorgeous video as well.

Note that the albino girl in the video is not Karin but the woman sitting across the table.

I saw The Knife last year at a festival, they're an amazing band live. I loved it, they're not so good on their records as they are live with special effects and cool colorful lights. Plus they have this beamer on the background of the stage with weird images passing by. So amazing.
