| | | GOLDFRAPP TERRIBLY BORING LIVE! and help? Save your money... It was so utterly dull - she just stood in front of fan, and they had lame back up dancers... the audience just stood around. IT was bad, bad , bad....
Oh and by they way - does anyone know who sings the song with lyrics like
"this timepiece someone get a hold of me..." or someone come and rescue me. |

| | | She seemed so disinterest as the audience was - they all just kind of stared at her...maybe it was a monday night fluke... but Dolly Parton put on a lively show in NYC than Goldfrapp. |

| | | I like her/them.
From what I've seen of live footage, she does seem quite low-energy. Even her voice is rather thin (live and recorded), perhaps its her "thing". Retro cokehead or something. |

| | Wow - i've seen Goldfrapp twice and both times it was freaking great! Granted one of those was at the Royal Albert Hall...so a little less dancing was done! But i saw them at a festival and it felt like the whole tent was gonna come down...it was wicked-good! Sorry you had such a bad time but it sounds like an off night - don't give up yet! |

I felt reluctant to fork out that much just to see Goldfrapp but when i found out Antony was supporting that was all the persuasion i needed! It was so beautiful but such a short set! I didn't get seats...i was in the rafters right at the top...holding my breath thru Antony's songs and dancing my ass off to Alison et al! |

| | | i saw goldfrapp at the students union in cardiff and it was GREAT. she wasn't hugely energetic, but she did her thing with the buzzy instrument that she provocatively plays with and touches aganst her body (do u know what instrument thing i mean?) anyway, we were all dancign and so was everyone else. perhaps alison wasn't very well or was in a bad mood. xxxxxxxx |

| | | I thought they were dull as dishwater live too. All that arm waving in front of a big wind machine gets a little bit repetitive after four or five songs. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
