Your right it isn't really shocking. There are very few artists that have anything to do with their music.

I've heard some of Britney's collaborators use the smackity smack of their balls on her gooch to inspire rhythm. So credit where credit is due.

Linda Perry has a good policy. Anything she comes up with while an artist's tongue is in her snatch is credited to both of them.

I imagine Avril's collaborators humor her a lot. She's the meal ticket afterall, so telling her that her ideas are fucking retarded and she should shut her irksome bitch yap probably isn't a great idea. So they let on she's contributing, and the ignorant cunt believes them.
