The Decemberists really do sound like NMH, only not as good (and I'm not exactly a big NMH fan). I read an interview with the Decemberists singer and he was complaining about his band getting NMH comparisions. I just thought "well stop ripping them off then, fuckface".

There is this one Decemberists song I love though. I don't think it was on an album. It was on a Kill Rock Stars comp.
