I did hot yoga for the first time last night and my instructor spoke just like Ani. It was so distracting. I kept waiting for her to break into a poem. But now she's my new fave thing, I wanna go back.

Everyone seems to gush over Untouchable Face and Swandive. While they're certainly great songs, Willing to Fight, to me, is the ultimate Ani song. It's both fierce and haunting, especially on the Living in Clip CD.

I've been an Ani fan since my little awkward eighth grade year. I hadn't listened to her in so long, but was going through my CD collection a few weeks ago, saw Dilate, and immediately put it on. Rediscovering artists is such a great experience.

and willing to fight is one of my favs as well so its good to hear that someone else appreciates it so much

i don't feel its lacking anything despite the fact she said it wasn't finished at the time
