Exclusive: Amy Winehouse Is Hospitalised

She cancels Summer Pops appearance...



Amy Winehouse has cancelled tonight’s (July 4) gig at Liverpool Summer Pops, amid fears the singer has been hospitalised.


There is no official word from Winehouse’s camp on the reason for the cancellation, but Gigwise has learnt from sources at the Summer Pops site that it’s because she is in hospital. The exact condition is not known.
Many of the thousands of fans arrived at the Summer Pops tent for the show, only to be told that it had been cancelled. Story continues below...




A fan said: “It was absolutely rammed with people standing around not knowing what was going on. We were eventually told that the show was cancelled and that organisers were hoping to rearrange it before the Pops finish on the 21st of July.”

Shes a mess. In interviews, she doesn't even try to hide her cocaine use. Shes a great talent and its her life. She has to choose what she wants before the choice is no longer hers to make.

she's young and her fame has exploded this year, i'm not suprised that she's having these issues creep back up.

she better make it to vfest in september....i can't wait to see her again.

I'd heard a lot of the media buzz about her, I'd seen her interviewed and thought she seemed cool, but I never really heard her music or saw her perform until Glastonbury and I was really impressed. I think she has a really nice stage presence and I really hope she doesn't let the fame and drugs (which often sadly go hand in hand) get the better of her.

Hmm bizarre.

On monday i was in Camden, eating pizza with mates, and she just strolled right past with a red head friend. Shes so small its gross, her hair is twice the size of her haha.
