| | | pete doherty.... I just searched this site and didn't come across an 'all about Pete' thread, although I know there use to be one, so someone will probably post a link soon and make me look silly. There havn't been major disscussions on Pete's music lately though... he's recorded a new album which is nearly finished and I'm quite excited about it. I havn't read much about him lately so i'm not up to date. But I just watched him on Johnathon Ross and was impressed. The beginning song was extrememly beautiful and even though he was very shy and reserved, the interview was nice too. Does anyone want to discuss pete latest music? And did anyone just see the interview?
I know a lot of people see him as a fucked up junkie, going the same way as Kurt.. But there is something so likeable about him. |

| | | .. there are a few. And i don't find them that interesting so I won't post them. I don't care about him naked. I really adored that song he played this evening on Johnathon Ross and I can't wait to hear it again. |

I love Peter's music. The tabloid stuff bores me, so I ignore it. I don't care that he's with Kate - that's great, I hope he's happy.. you know? She seems to make him happy, and I can't argue with that.
Anyway yeah, I can't wait for the new album. Have you heard the Blinding EP that came out a while ago?
Itripley - it would be nice if we could have a thread that was just about the music, and not tabloid bs, naked pics, ect. Maybe if you want that kind of thread you could start a "Peter Doherty naked pics" thread? Btw, I have the pics, including a beautiful nude that maybe seven people have seen.. but I'm not going to post them
Here's a link to download the interview and performance on Rossy last night though Send big files the easy way with sendspace. Files too large for email attachments? No problem!

| | | I saw the interview, yes he's so loveable and everyone including Jonathon Ross wants to mother him - i think its a teeny bit of an act. BUT the new song was very beautiful. In general Pete + accoustic guitar on his own is usually brilliant. But yet i see Babyshambles on TV at Glasto and its just a pure shambles! He gets wasted, he cant sing, he falls over and looks like an idiot. It makes me so mad to see him like that, because he is such a talent. |

| | | couldnt stand him mainly because the libertines fans where i hang out were so annoying and gabbled on bout him so i wasnt very open minded to him. but my best friend made me listen to babyshambles and after seeing them live i really got into them pete is so charaismatic onstage from ross interview he seems like a nice genuine person and ver funny. |

| | | Pete was amazing live solo at Glastonbury, a really fun set and the only one I saw apart from the Who where the audience demanded an encore! |
