| | glassJAw & Head Automatica Yes, a lot of the music between the bands are quite drastic, but GOD is Daryl Palumbo amazing. Both for writing and singing.
Anyone a fan? |

| | | Glassjaw and Head Automatica are the kinds of bands that I would really like to like, but I just can't do it.
And the singer's voice drives me pretty bonkers a lot of the time. I think it's abrasive in a really weird, annoying way. Kind of like an ankle-biting dog or something. |

I really hope it happens, but you know.
I love, love, love Glassjaw. I really liked the first Head Automatica cd too, the scond one didn't do as much for me though.
And Daryl is one of those guys that everytime I see him I just want to give him a hug. |

| | | 1 UK date? Rubbish. They've had pretty bad luck with gigs cancelled over here as well.
Last I heard Glassjaw are continuing with a single guitarist, not sure how I feel as I loved some of the subtle interleved lines on W&T. I quite like ...Silence but the second half is a bit messy, glad Daryll got that screaming off his chest so they could get more focussed with the second album.
Watched Head Automatica at Download for shits & giggles. Only really heard Beating Heart Baby, hearing an american band make music like that seems weird though - I kept expecting him to start talking in a northern accent. |
