LCD Soundsystem linking up for a single date at Morrison, Colorado's Red Rocks Amphitheatre on September 17. It was fun, but unless you live amongst the Rockies, that's probably all it was for you.
Now you've come home. You're exhausted, caked in sweat and whatever designer imposter perfume that lady next to you on the bus was wearing. You've changed since this morning. And so, it seems, has the news of the LCD Soundsystem-Arcade Fire partnership.
Yup, LCD Soundsystem and the Arcade Fire are staging an entire fall tour together. We've only got one more date confirmed since this morning-- September 20, at the equally idyllic Hollywood Bowl-- but it looks as though the two indie giants will play a string of dates starting sometime in September and ending in early October. If ever there was time for a "yippee" in these pages, this is it.
