it is funny, the actual thread at the sy board is 9 pages long, the steve albini board is up to 23 pages on theirs, people need to lighten the **** up about it
I'm sorry, but the last thing people need to do is lighten up about it. This actually ****es on independent stores from a great height, and from a band who made their name touring toilets in a ****ed-up van for the best part of their career, and put out singles such as "Teenage Riot" and "Youth Against Fascism" (singles!)
I'm not a casual fan, I have most of their albums and I've listened to them all a lot.
The reason I'm ****ed off is because I love this band, and I think it's ridiculous how they just shrug it off.
Someone needs to call up Ian Mackaye about this. Maybe he can deliver retribution like some sort of indie-rock Punisher.
****, someone pass Thurston a copy of Repeater and be done with it.
