$109.99 list price, from what i hear.

i'm half excited. i'd really rather have something else, but i guess this'll work for now. those of us who can't play 5.1 don't really have a reason to buy this, other than the one solitary unreleased track.

I don't really like Bjork, but I want this.
Too bad it's DualDisc. I hate those things.

she's already re-done volumen twice, and there's already a medulla videos DVD. you can get the videos very easily..

the point of the box is the 5.1 remasters, not the videos. people have been asking about 5.1 for years now, just like the people that asked for the back catalogue DVDs - but as soon as she decides to release them, her fans backfire and become a "money hungry bitch".

the singles box set is underway. the artwork is done and i imagine they're trying to find a way to logistically release it. i have almost every single, and they're apparently adding unreleased mixes and white-labels - and since she's released at least 20 songs as singles, i imagine there will be that many discs or more. financially it's just not that great of a move. how many of you are going to want to shell out $150 - $200 for the singles box when you can get almost all of the original singles right now in a package from OLI?

misspoland, i think you imagined the remixes box. other than on the singles, the remixes have only been on "telegram" and the "army of me-xes". i would love a giant vinyl box set of her remixes, though.

Actaully, I'd get this. I love her albums, own none of them, and fit into the second category of demographically-inclined purchasers: the pirating Bjork fan, the rabid Bjork collector.

I swear, there are some bastards who would steal her ovaries if their shrine wasn't already full of collected feces. :s

i never quite figured out Bjork, I like Debut and Post but couldn't get into Medulla. And I missed everything inbetween. She's one of those rare artists where I'm happy with just one or two cds of her (usually I'm obsessive and collect everything if i like a singer!)

i, for one, have been waiting with bated breath for the singles box, and i've had all of her singles (and collecting the new ones) for years. it's just going to make it easier, especially since they're each single with 2-3 cds is going to be collected on one disc, like the Joga "singles mix collection" they tried a few years ago, with all the b-sides and mixes from the 3 singles they wree forced to release to qualify for the UK record charts on one disc and the b-sides from DVDs will be included as well so i don't have to listen to them on the DVD or shitty ripped mp3s of them (which i'm aware is really only valid for the singles from Medulla since they're the only 'exclusive-to-dvd' b-sides, but still) and then there's the whole thing about vinyl-only remixes that i don't feel like digging out just to listen to once in a while.
the 'singles collection' available right now from OLI is about $400 including shipping and handling to the USA, for just the regular singles in a brown cardboard box. uggh. they're offering that at a clearance price so they can get rid of them to make the new singles box.

i'd buy the new, complete singles box set in a flash, and keep my old singles as well.

xoxo
