The greatest asset they all have is themselves. And yet does anybody promote that to them? Does anybody tell them that they are the greatest asset they have? Or are they steered to idol worship? Are they moved, are they motivated, are they inspired to look at the president or any politician as their only salvation? If they are, it's just a shame.

It's supposed to premiere at Cannes this month. However, I have no idea when it will be released in the US or anywhere else. I believe screenings begin in September (not in the US, of course). I'm interested in why the film is black and white, I always feel like Ian Curtis was from ages and ages ago even though 1980 wasn't that long ago.

It's a movie about the life and death of Ian Curtis (probably a bit fictionalized in some parts).

Wow...the actor does look a lot like him. I'm looking forward to it. I have a photo I took of Ian's memorial stone on my wall.
