I always meant that a groupie is someone that fucks (or anything else sexual) famous people just because they are famous.

But some say that they define a groupie as someone who hangs out a lot with bands, movistars- celebrities in general. I guess
Of course this doesn`t include people who actually KNOW the famous person.

It used to be that way, both cling-on fans and women looking for thrills would be lumped into the same category of groupie at the dawn of groupiedom forty years ago..... Though these days, its exclusively the latter.

a groupie is a woman who's life purpose is to be a musician's quick fuck. People usually say they fuck musicians, but it's the other way around. The musicians FUCK THEM, and they throw them out like garbage.

And so they go through life being fucked and thrown away over and over and over until they are way too old to be attractive.

The most pathetic thing about a groupie is that she falls in love with the musician, and when the musician treats them like scum, they have people like me who are their friends and try to tell them that he was a fucker, and then the groupie goes all crazy defending the musician saying it wasn't his fault, he is good and it was all her fault.

See, they blame themselves. And they end up old and alone.

On a side note, people like Marianne Faithfull are not groupies. She has fucked her colleagues but she is not a groupie.

Men doesn`t hang around the tour bus trying their hardest to get on though, they have different ways. I don`t think they are "desperate" in that way.
I belive guys approach a female celebrity a bit more different. Most girls doesn`t get anything out from fuckin 5 guys in one night- every day of the week- like guys do. That is one reason that male groupies and female groupies are different.
