| | Prince charges £235 for Wembley shows VIP areas at Prince's Wembley Stadium shows are the entire floor seating and lower tier. Cheaper seats are £30 but you are way up high and wont be able to see anything. how can he get away with charging this much? The fact that he made the majority of the stadium VIP is shite. |

| | Apparently his only European shows are all in Britain and then he's taking a break. I didnt know he was working so hard lately? He said he's taking time off then for travel and study. Studying what? The Bible apparently I believe it though, he's gone a bit nutty lately. He apparently paid off some strippers to stop dancing at a party telling them, "there's no need for that here ladies," Good ol' Princey doesnt like seeing ladies "degraded" |

| | | i've seen the price been justified in advertisements as, "you get his new album included with the price"...which is disgraceful. |

| | | I'm perfectly happy to have got my tickets for £31, he's a genius, musically, and I really don't care about how weird he is. When I last saw him play (over 10 years ago) he was mind blowingly good. I would have paid a lot more to see him, because he is THAT good. I don't think he's ripping people off at all. If corporate bods are happy to pay that it's up to them. It's a bit annoying that they get the best seats, but that always seems to happen anyway. I never get brilliant seats no matter how hard I try. He hardly needs a marketing ploy here, he'd sell out in minutes anyway. I'm more than pleased to get his cd free as well. Brilliant. |

During the Musicology tour, Prince included a copy of his album with the price of tickets, but that (as far as I know) isn't a special promotion this time around.
LOL! I didn't even realize until just now that he is taking his complete 3121 Vegas act to that venue. The higher end cost is for the VIP Package which includes a 4 course dinner and drinks. I'd hella pay 235 bucks for that. It's NOT just 235 for a concert.

Though some of the other stuff he's done since he's become a Jehovah's Witness is pretty shitty.
I'd still love to see him live though. |

| | Regardless of how amazing a performer Prince is (and he is), I don't care who you are or what terminal illness you cured, charging more than 500 of my maple scented canadian dollars for suppy and a concert is a bit much.
Adding the cd in with such an overinflated price tag is like charging 10$ to use the toilet at an indian restaurant but offering the toilet paper as a bonus.
Is it really fair that floor seats are only available to those who can afford the pomp and pretense? The answer is no. But such is life, and I'd like to think if I were as unscrupulously wealthy I'd do the same |
