| | dEUS - Belgian Indie, love their early stuff Worst Case Scenario, In A Bar Under the Sea..very playful and quirky. The third album Ideal Crash was more polished, leaving a bit of the weirdness behind but great nevertheless...I was truly disappointed in their latest album Pocket Revolution, though.
Myspace dEUS 16 Horsepower - Alternative Country, very dark, sinister, end-of-the-world-so-better-regret-all-your-sins-but-it-won't-help-you-anyway-because-you'll-end-up-in-hell atmosphere, love the manic, passionate preacher vibe of Edwards, the singer. They broke up but the solo project Woven Hand ist just as great.
Myspace: 16 Horsepower Juliette and the Licks - (Might be an obsolete recommendation around here but it's in my top five these days nevertheless) raw, energetic rock, fun, love Juliette's raw voice and her way of singing
Myspace: Juliette and the Licks Finntroll - Uhm, Humpa Metal....  Not for everyone's taste but it's great fun stuff.
