Reminder: Sonic Youth on "Gilmore Girls" Tonight

Yeah yeah, we know you know, because we keep telling you. But we're going to remind you again: tonight on the season finale of the WB's "Gilmore Girls", Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore, along with their daughter Coco, will perform "What a Waste", from the new Sonic Youth album,
Rather Ripped, due out June 13. Yo La Tengo, Sparks, Joe Pernice, and Sam Phillips will also appear. Some people think "Gilmore Girls" is the best TV show ever, and we aren't going to argue.
We're reporting this again so that we have an excuse to show you these awesome photos Thurston Moore emailed us, taken on the set of the show.

Rather Ripped is born. Mark Ibold, formerly of Pavement and Kim Gordon's band Free Kitten, is joining the band on bass.
