i hate country. but.. i think Carrie Underwood is the best thing that ever came out of American Idol, along with Kelly Clarkson. all the other Idols are useless.

I agree only Carrie and Kelly Clarkson are the good ones from AI. Both really strong voices and good songs.... especially songs that are empowering to women I think.

I don't really think Carrie is all that country though. sh's kind country-pop. I like it though.

I like country any way. I'm a huge Johnny Cash fan and really like Sarah Harmer (although I guess that's kinda more folksy, maybe bluegrass stuff) and i listen to Alison krauss...I'm kinda embarrassed by that last one though...

i love country. the more redneck, the better.
