Is that sarcasm? Because that really doesn't sound bad at all to me. That's part of my love for it. You can dislike the world and not necesarrily be an angry ***** - Which is what I like about the album.

i prefer the comedy and raunchyness of Exile. it's nostalgic for me. i was 14 and loved Sassy magazine. i still think it's great.

what? no, the first part of my post for some ****.
anyway, i love wcse because it is different from her first two. it's very experimental. you can hear her trying on different pop forms. if only she went forward with this kind of pop instead of the ones she did for the two other albums which followed (still liked those though).

you know what back in the day on here like 00-01.almost nobody said how fantastic that album was it was deemed too pop i have always loved that album and there isnt any songs id skip on it where as id skip a few on exile but the exile songs are very strong like 9 or so are very strong statement songs wcse is kinda mainstreamish and some of those songs really should have been huge hits then again so should have jealousy from whip smart i am a huge fan of that one as well and her s/t one is very good too however im not too impressed with sm.

now i know this is off topic but from observation on here it seems like the general board members or atleast those who post seem to prefer cs to ltt by hole which wasnt the case 7 yrs ago.

another one of mention is pj ages ago everyone for the most part preferred tbyml now they all for the most part say is this desire.

dont get me wrong i still say all in all 98 was the best year for albums prolly ever-celebrity skin, version 2.0,xo,white chocolate space egg, miseducation of lauryn hill, ray of light, from the choirgirl hotel, the globe sessions,is this desire, etc. at the end of the year most people said it wasnt a great year that all most of those artists mentioned albums didnt top their previous stuff and wasnt as exciting or as classic.

last one of mention is elliott smith back in the day people were all saying xo was his best one now it seems like most people have changed their minds or its newer people who have gotten into him and they all say either/or.

keep in mind when i say all its a generalization of the assumed majority.i would love to see another 98 with stunning albums not just a stunning track or two or at most handful.

it's the only one i haven't heard.

the first two i listened to because everybody was shooting in their pants over them.
the last two i listened to because they inspired such hatred i wanted to see if they were really that awful. they sucked alright, but in a boring way.

not in a hilariously awful way like that rap album one of the ugly ****s from korn released.
Cleetus, I wouldn't bother if I were you. If you can't see any worth in the first 2 albums I highly doubt WCSE is going to change your mind about Liz Phair. I still think her true genius is best showcased on the Girly Sound tapes.
