| | | Bands that are unique to you I thought of this earlier and it *kind* of coincides with the music taste=good sex thread. Anyway, what are some of the artists that you love/are you unique to pretty much only you AND don't seem to be KR's bag?
Mine is a huge list. (And I'd probably be a horrible "music lay" to most of you)
Godhead
Stabbing Westward
Monster Magnet
Lil Kim
and of course the Marilyn Manson |

| | okay, so i thought more about it. i don't think anyone here would be into piedmont style blues. of which i kind of wanted to post a thread about but figured nobody would buy into. artists like cephas & wiggins, and the recently departed etta baker. also, in the blues dept. - odetta. i've never really had a taste for blues until i found these people. i thought they were all that swaggering delta blues style. harmonica and that same old slide guitar trick
i love this Odetta clip: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSDeROnTq64

| | | I think there's one other person on KR (maybe Debaser) who likes them, but Adorable are one of those bands that most people are generally meh about, but their music affects me really deeply. So I kind of feel like they're "my" band, so to speak. |

but I was the pre-eminent nick cave fan here for a while, I like to think.
oh and I'd now include myself in the Divine Comedy set, of which there dosn't seem to be many major fans of here but there are a few and we are souls to be reckoned with haha
