I have bought around 10 maxi singles in the past week just because they each had 4+ remixes. Unfortunately, many remixes are rather boring and typical "boom. boom. boom. boom." over and over, but a few (like Goldfrapp or Fantastic Plastic Machine's remixes) are really, really great... turning it into a whole different song and not just copying & pasting vocals into a toxic metal mold of beats.

Moog Cookbook's remix of Air's Kelly Watch The Stars is one of the best I've heard. And Solid's remix of Modulor.
And the Ratatat remix of The Knife's We Share Our Mother's Health is great.
