| | | Madonna Working With Justin Timberlake On New Album Quote:
Madonna is definitely going in a different direction for her upcoming album.
Many are calling it a "hip hop" record, but we're pretty confident it will still have a pop/dance beat.
And, in the most exciting news we've heard all week, Justin Timbelake has revealed that he is working with her Madgesty on her new album!
Justin confirmed: "I have been working on some new music. But it's not for myself - I'm writing for other people. I'm working on some stuff for Madonna."
Timberlake headed into a West London studio on Tuesday with Madonna.
He is in the U.K. for a few weeks as he prepares to kick off the European leg of his current world tour.
Timberlake's frequent collaborator, Timbaland, has also been lined up to work with M on her new album. Pharrell Williams has said that he's working on at least four tracks, and electro tunesmith Felix Da Housecat is also working on the record.
"The last album was a credible disco record and Madonna wants to give hip-hop the same treatment this time," says one insider. "It's not all hip-hop though, there are a lot of producers from a lot of genres in there. It could be her most ambitious project yet."
The new record is expected to be released by the end of this year.
Yay!!!!

Justin Timberlake is busy writing songs for Madonna.
The former N’Sync star is collaborating with the Queen Of Pop on her forthcoming album, which is due out in November.
Justin confirmed: “I have been working on some new music.
“But it’s not for myself — I’m writing for other people. I’m working on some stuff for Madonna.”
Justin headed into a West London studio yesterday with Madge.
He is in the country for a few weeks as he prepares to kick off the UK leg of his current world tour.
Madonna is famous for reinventing herself and this time her album will have a real hip-hop feel.
She has lined up a Who’s Who of the genre’s megastars, including Timberlake’s producer pal Timbaland to help her achieve R&B credibility.
Hip-hop legend Pharrell Williams is already working on at least four tracks and his fingerprints look set to be all over the new release.
Madge’s last offering, Confessions On A Dance Floor, was a massive success, with Brit DJ and producer Stuart Price the main influence on the 2005 album.
There will also be some dancy Price-produced tracks on the new offering and she has also been joined by Chicago house DJ and producer Felix Da Housecat in the studio. A source told me: “Confessions was a worldwide smash — but this will be different once again.
“The last album was a credible disco record and Madonna wants to give hip-hop the same treatment this time.
“It’s not all hip-hop though, there are a lot of producers from a lot of genres in there. It could be her most ambitious project yet.”

i really liked "get together" and "future lovers".
i think this r&b style suits her better though, imo. maybe w/ this record she'll actually get radioplay again. |

| | | excuse me but Confessions of A Dancefloor is the second most defining record of the decade, Music being the first one.
I listened to Bedtime Stories and it's actually lame. Yes it has 4 of the best signles of her career but songs like Survival or I'd Rather Be Your Lover sound way to Janet Jackson,it's horrible. I think it's the only record where Madonna was being fake, it just wasn't her. Madonna is not R/B.
Madonna is pop, she is rock, she is electronica and she is house and dance. Those are her genres and what she should stay in. |

| | | As I'm sure HCH will note, her 1995 had a ton of urban flavor so something a bit more hip hoppy isnt out of her league.
I imagine something along the lines of JT/Nelly Furtado.
Also, remember that a huge percent of white people assume anything with a beat is hip hop.

| You're listening to the wrong songs. Inside of Me, Sanctuary, Love Tried to Welcome Me & Forbidden Love are all really good. So with the singles that's almost an entire album.
Survival is okay, but I'd Rather Be Your Lover and Don't Stop are fucking awful. |

| | | I guess R and B or Hip Hop is good as long as her pop sensibility is there, wich was lost in Survival and I'd Rather be your lover for instance. |
