| | PJ Harvey to showcase new songs at only UK gig PJ Harvey to showcase new songs at only UK gig Singer gears up for rare solo show in Manchester 2 hours ago PJ Harvey is set to showcase new material at an intimate gig in July.
The singer will play a rare solo show on July 7 at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester, and is promising some new songs on the night. Harvey explained that the sold-out gig - part of the inaugural Manchester International Festival - will feature a "career-spanning set" and will see her "treat fans to a couple of new songs along the way".
The show is currently Harvey's only confirmed UK date of the year, with her only other appearances confirmed for the Summercase Festival in Madrid and Barcelona, also in July.
The star's last album was 'Uh Huh Her' in 2004.

..She gave me a look when I picked up the phone and I was like, "HE'S JUST A FRIEND." and she was like "THAT'S FINE. IT'S OKAY." :french:

| | | I can't be convinced. The only live music I shall bear witness to from this day forth shall be folk music. I shall buy a nice cardigan and a pipe and heartily mock anyone who drinks anything other than 'real ale'.
Indie people make me ill.
