Curently Never for Ever, but that will change. I have had The Wedding List in my head for at least the past week. It's getting to the point where I think things in my head to the tune of the opening verse. Either than or I think them in iambic pentameter, which I was teaching to my Year 12 class.

Are there any Kate DVD's out? I really need a couple.

for a long time it was never for ever for me. it has some of her most classic songs and it flows so well.

but the sensual world hits me with so much more emotion, particularly "never be mine". the sensual world took the longest for me to "get". the first time i put it in, i thought it was quite possibly the worst thing she'd ever done and none of it connected with me.

there's an "under review" dvd but i haven't seen it and it's not authorized by kate. i don't think there's anything else out.

Given the attention she puts in to her music videos, there really ought to be something. It's a travesty! All she needs to do is sign something somewhere, and a music video collection could be put out. At obsessive Kate sites, there must surely be a petition for such?

I like The Sensual World, it was probably my favourite around '99/2000, but it can come across as a bit muted and I need to be in the mood. As a late at night album, or an early morning album, it's fantastic.

I definitely believe the stories that The Red Shoes was designed as a more straightforward album that she might be able to take on tour. I really wish she had done so. Sometimes I think the album sags under the weight of all the guest artists. The Trio Bulgarka are great and all, but she'd already been there on The Sensual World, and I think their presence is overstated. Ditto Eric Clapton, Nigel Kennedy, Prince and all the bloody rest of them. Even though I love Why Should I Love You.
