Before I begin I wish to state that I am not intending to be rude or to act as a troll in any way. I'll be up front and honest and admit that I am probably the kind of angst free, burger munching tosspot the vast majority of you would cross the road to avoid.

However.. I do have a serious question that needs answering and having typed the words " Courtney Love Forums" into Google there is a good chance that one of you is qualified to answer it.

In 1991 or maybe 1992 I bought a one of issue of a British magazine that purported to cash in on the current trend for grunge music such as it was.
I have no idea what the name of said magazine was.

The question I need answering is: within said magazine there was an interview with the female lead singer of a grunge band who were absolutely despised by Courtney Love and Kurt Cobain.
The main thing I remember from the article is the fact the lead singer used to relieve her boyfriend orally before she took to the stage in the deluded belief that it improved her singing voice.
I have been trying to deduce the name of either the name of this minx or her thankfully obscure band for some days now within the auspices of another forum, but to no avail.
I'm 75% sure it's not Kathleen Hanna but any evidence to prove otherwise will be most gratefull recieved.

Anyway. Thanks in advance if any of you have any clue as to who it might be. Apologies once again to the moderators for this post; this is the kind of post that gets you banned in one go where I've come from but needs must.

Well I admit, it's the longest of long shots but...yes.

The problems I've had so far is that simply typing in "Courtney Love Bands Arguments" spews out a list longer than an HMV catalogue.
Short of shooting puppies on a live camera feed for MTV, Courtney can't have made anymore music industry detractors than she already has. As you can see narrowing the search in order to find the type of gal who would happily admit to gargling jizz before a gig from this impressively large list is proving a somewhat difficult task.

i keep telling people they need to invent a google engine that searches your memories. have you typed in the terms: "jizz" + "rival band" + "courtney" + "1992" ??

I have. The results were not pretty.
