Metallica announce Wembley date

Band confirm their European tour

Metallica are set to follow in the footsteps of Muse by playing London's Wembley Stadium.

News of the show, which takes place on July 8, was first announced here on NME.COM.

The London date is their only confirmed UK date on their European tour which kicks off in Lisbon and ends in Moscow.
