I thought Uh Huh Her was quite good! Close to my least favourite PJ album, but that doesn't mean it wasn't still better than most other things out there.
If this next album is better, all power to it. I shall buy.

her worst is is this desire for me, well.. my least favorite (although it has angelene). i think she has no worst album. it's all kinda good. uh huh her was beautiful, it has shame and no child of mine.. lots.
'the desperate kingdom of love', 'you come through', 'it's you' and 'the darker days of me and him' alone make ugh huh her better than stories from the city stories from the sea.
stories is really overrated considering the entire middle section is basically shit.
ugh huh her is uneven too ('pocket knife' sounds like the sort of abortion a stupid hack would write and then be called pj harveyesque by an equally stupid reviewer) but the good stuff is really good.
i've tried to rank her albums and can't. i have a different favorite every few months.
but if i had to go without one of her albums, it would be stories, not ugh huh her.

i agree completely. although cat on the wall is probably the worst song she has ever released. and I wasn't a big fan of the touring band or the live sound for uh hu her.
i'm not liking that youtube clip very much, but still looking forward to the new album. i love is this desire? and tbyml and i'm looking forward to her working with flood again - as long as the production doesn't sound dated.

Really? I think Is This Desire is one of her best. I'd rate the last two albums as my least favourites, even though they too have some great moments.
The recent footage has me really excited though, I love almost everything this woman does.

I thought this was old news? I've had these songs for a few months. But on topic, they are damn good. 'The Mountain', I reckon, is my favorite.
is this desire is my least favorite.i really love uh huh her even tho i prefer stories,dry,rid of me,and tbyml for mthose 4 are superb pieces of art fantastic classics modern day masterpieces purely marvelous.
