i met the trombone or trumpet or something player for hog hoggidy hog at a festival a few years back.
i was sitting next to the 206 stage, and he was sort of passed out drunk near me. so some kids went to like take his shoes. so i got them back and gave tehm to him, so he leaned into me and tried to start making out with me. so i was like eeeeeew no, and he threw an empty beercan at me

i didn't know who he was until i saw him being interviewed on tv a few weeks later.

it was pretty cool

hog hoggidy hog are south african, so obv noones heard of them

i've met:

robert smith and simon gallup from the cure - at a radio station when they came in for an iterview. they signned a set list i got at a previous show. i din't really get a chance to talk with them but i was in such awe i would have stuttered like a fool.

bjork - she was doing an interview at much music and we were in the lobby waiting to see if we coudl get a glance. my friend told me to turn around and there was bjork, right in front of me. she was so sweet and so cute. it was back in the sugar cube days so her english was really poor. she signed a picture for me and hugged me.

trent reznor and his backing band - nin did an instore the night before a show here and we got to bypass the line and meet him. he was suprisingly very nice and we chatted about pwei who he had just signed to his label. he signed a downward spiral cd and poster for me.

ned's atomic dustbin - i met the guys in ned's several times at their many toronto shows over the years. i have a very cool signed set list.

therapy? - they were playing with rollins band and we waited outside their tour bus and michael the bassis tcome out and we chated with him and then he invited us on the tour bus to meet andy and fyfe, who was asleep. we chatted and had beers with them prior to their set. super nice guys.

henry rollins - i met henry outside the venue before one of his shows. he was quite friendly, very short and very grey.

babes in toyland - went to new jersey to see babes play and we we waiting outside the venue when their van pulled up. kat, mo & lori were amazing and chatted with all the fans and signed tons of stuff. they were very suprised that we came from toronto to see them. they promised to come up to toronto on the fall tour and said to come ask for them. the show was cancelled at the very last minute due to someone with a criminal reocerd not being able to get into canada.

lush - met miki and emma outside the venue before the show. miki was wonderful and friendly. emma was a cunt.
