Listen to the samples

Got the new Uncut magazine recently with a free CD and was shocked and ashamed to discover that I don't know half of the featured artists!

Most notably Final Fantasy, Tapes'n'Tapes and Beirut, who's songs featured on this CD I absolutely loved and now after 2 hours of googling I can tell that their other stuff is brilliant as well!

Any fans in here?

Also, do you think that:

• All interesting new music has been coming from North America for the past few years? Seems like in UK everybody wants to be someone else and on the cover of NME, while in NA people just creating interesting music.

• Violin is the new guitar?
