would you still purchase the same amount of cds if they went up five or ten dollars

if cds went up drastically like say 5 or 10 bucks would your music shopping stay the same or would you become more selective.the suits are really suffering with album sales declining week after week month after month and after the store closings for retail doing bad what do you think the end result will be for i dont think things can and will remain the same.logically one would think they would lower them to try and gain back buyers and get the kiddies to finally start buying or do you think greed will take over once more and sales prices will soar like housing prices?

Probably. There will be a last ditch effort to either change drastically to extremely regulated legal downloading or they'll make every CD $25.

Either way, you could just go to a used record store like The Beat Goes on. A lot of their stuff is a smooth $8.99.

my shopping habits wouldn't change. i don't buy new CDs now, and i'd continue to buy used. i think prices are already ridiculous.

My buying habits would stay the same. CDs are too expensive NOW. Until everything drops down to 11.99 and under, I'll continue to download music and buy vinyl. At this point, I buy maybe 3 CDs a year, if that.

No I would not. I'd probably spend the same amount of money, but that would result in fewer individual CDs.
