Amy Winehouse, The Coral And Supergrass To Support Arctic Monkeys

Arctic Monkeys have announced the support acts for their huge concerts at Lancashire County Cricket Ground in July.

Supergrass, The Coral and Amy Winehouse will warm up the crowds on both days of the sold out event which takes place on July 29 and 29.

In statement the band said: "When we decided to do our own event, we wanted to play with people whose music we love and just make it a really fun day out for the fans.

"Supergrass, The Coral and Amy Winehouse are all amazing live Acts and three of our favourite Artists. We're really looking forward to playing together. It's going to be two days of great music".

Gates for the shows open at 2:30pm.

Meanwhile drummer Matt Helders has launched his own clothing range that will be on sale in selected shops from May.

Called Supremebeing the line so far includes three different style t-shirts, a jacket and a zip-up hoody which are limited to 600 copies of each colour and style.

£1 from the sale of each garment will be donated to the Arthur Rank Hospice and each item will also come with a free CD featuring a Skuff remix of the band.

The range will be available from selected high street shops and online via ASOS.
