it is a very energetic emotional album. her vocals are ace. the music and production kicks ass. i feel like i am stepping back to 1965 and traveling to today. you know. it kind of takes from the good music of the 60's 70's 80's and puts a new spin on them. this is such a good summer album.
and it definately connects with me more than the Beekeeper. i loved that album, but i definately do feel what is missing on most of it listening to these songs.
the songs aren't available to download anywhere yet, but you can listen on the yessaid radio over on the messageboards.
i'm getting a bit behind with it all. haven't heard full versions of some of the stuff available yet.
i'm just not as into it as i used to be. i think even though these tracks are her best for a few years now, i just kinda lost my enthusiasm after SW and TBK. hopefully once the album comes out and i've played it fully a few times the gates will open for me....
