Yeah, but the Carling Reading/Leeds festival gets three days of gigs for that price, we get a very crammed two. You in Aberdeen? T in the Park will have almost the exact same line up as Oxegen sans a few Irish local acts and might be a little closer?

Radiohead are supposed to be headlining Oxegen, I saw Arcade Fire live at Leeds and found it boring!

Who ever is complaining about price shut your pie hole! You dont know how good you got it. It will probably be around 200 euros for us, seeing that 175 was the early discount price last year.
Yeah I've heard horror stories about the camping, thats why I'm busing it like I did back in '03. I can't be arsed camping in field with a bunch of pissed up schoolkids setting fire to tents. Hopefully Interpol are on the same day as Arcade Fire (how could they be boring live!??!). I checked ticketmaster, the two day non-camping tickets are €177.80 or €96.50 for one day. Two day camping tickets are €197.50. I'd love to go to electric picnic at some point, I've heard nothing but good things about it.

I worked T in the park last year and was in the comfort and security of the staff camp site. It was my first experience of T in the park and I would have to say i would never attend it. I'm from NI so would fly home and drive the car down, but oh god no way T in the park it's full of skanky bastards drinking Tennant :P It would have been a horrible experience had i not have been staying in the fucking amazing staff camp site which was a laugh away from all the ned idiots

No time for grammar I feel so strongly lol

Just might have to go to both I think the festival setting doesnt do certain bands justice, they were in a tiny shitey tent too, maybe thats the way for Arcade Fire

I did Oxegen tenting twice and then again last year with staff which was wonderful cause it was right next to the V.I.P. bar area, I snuck in a number of times for celeb spotting, tee-hee. Security are bastards though, MCD got awful slack for it. Yeah, Oxegens probably just as bad as T in the Park from hearing your story, I ended up getting into a bitch fight and threw a container of water over this girl and slapped her but I really dont want to go into how that came about.
