One of the
best live bands in my experience changes name to Priestbird, records new album and goes on extensive tour!
If you are not sure think CocoRosie and Devendra Barnhart (best friends)
and Dirty Three perhaps (music wise).

It is true. Tarantula A.D. has a new band name: Priestbird. The same 3 original Tarantula A.D. members. Playing former Tarantula A.D. songs + brand new songs. There is much touring to come in USA and Europe (see upcoming shows). New album due in April 2007 called "In Your Time" on Kemado Records. To answer all of your questions on the name: Priestbird references a character who looks after bird spirits in the afterlife.
