if you don't pleeeeeeassssse listen to them. i saw them last week and haven't been that blown away by a band in a long time. the lead singer is absolutely brilliant, she was powerful and dynamic and the music is great. they had a good stage presence too. reminds me a little of PJ harvey... to drop a reference.
i desperately want them to get a proper name out there, i'm pretty sure a lot of you would like em.

love them. i've caught them 3 times in brisbane and both of their cds are great. they were here again the other weekend for 3 shows and i just had to be broke as that week. it was annoying that they were playing a 10 min walk away but i couldn't even afford cover charge. i did really enjoyed the show when the supported Chicks On Speed. i bought a t-shirt of both bands to add to my unneccessaryly large band shirt collection

hahaha i felt bad for not liking it when the bassist sung.
the show i saw was only like $6 at some place at west end?? i have a feeling they didnt even play the best they could, but yeah i liked em heaps.

i planned to go to that after seeing a friend if i could pull some money out of my ass but then she cancelled anyways so i really couldn't be fucked going in the end. i really enjoying seeing them play live, but you say that show wasnt even that good? i'm not so annoyed i missed it then. i dunno if the Jub or Fat Louies shows were any good. there will always be next time.
