I never really got into it, but I'm wondering if the people who were raving about it the day it was released still feel that way? Do you like it more, less, the same or have you forgotten all about it?

i bought it when it came out (i'd say i'm a more casual fan, i only had "The dreaming" and "whole story" at that point) and was underwhelmed.. unlike a lot of people i really liked "king of the mountain". there's maybe two other decent songs on the record but the rest of it is incredibly bland. and the second record is unbearable.

i liked "king of the mountain" too. i was reading reviews on amazon one day and was surpised so many people hated it.

that, "joanni", "a coral room" and "nocturn" from the second disc are the only ones i like at all.

i wasn't necessarily raving about it when it came out, but i do still like it, although i find it hard to listen to. it's daunting - most of the songs can't really stand alone, but it's usually too difficult to absorb in one sitting.

highlights for me are "king of the mountain", "mrs. bartolozzi", "how to be invisible", "nocturn", and "aerial".
