it was NINA who walked away from the band and left Louise with nothing. at least let her have the name and keep your mouth shut.

nina has a beautiful voice, but she's completely lost the charm she had in Veruca. she sounds like a dixie chick, only not as good. at least Louise brings the rock. nina probably hasn't picked up an electric guitar in 8 years. which would be okay if she didn't also lose the ability to write a cool hook.

I just saw an interview with Louise recently where she admitted that she must have been really difficult to be around during that period. Also, she seemed fairly at peace with the way everything has turned out. Resolver blew TATROML out of the water anyways.

oh i'm sorry...i didn't mean that to be directed at you. more towards the thread in general. its definitely cool that they are both at peace with the situation, bc i'm sure they both said or did ugly things at the time that we don't (and shouldn't!) know about. i just find it annoying that, 8 years later, she still feels the need to put something like 'nina of the formerly 'awesome' band Veruca Salt' on her myspace.

the thing is, none of this would really be important if Nina werent such a disappointment as a solo artist. again thats just my opinion, and its not like her music is total garbage. its just that when you put it next to the work she did in Veruca, it pales so much that it actually disappears. i tried it. it should be a science fair project or something.

I totally agree. She's another 5 year gap between albums away from being Garfunkel.
