The Vibration are an all female quartet who incorporate post punk influences, but don’t mimic other bands. Their sound is theirs alone with a dark slightly seamy underbelly just lurking beneath jangly guitars and well crafted melodies. Their first full length album ( following 2003’s Ear To The Ground EP) is full of the aggression and passion of a band that is hungry to be heard. It's interest lies in many layers of emotion and interplay musically and lyrically. Amarilla was released May 1 but recorded in January of 2005. I don’t know why it was such a long time coming, but it was worth the wait.

to me, they sound like a more ear-friendly sleater kinney. i like it, but is it out in north america? i couldnt find it listed anywhere.
another song sounds like an esthero song vocally.

never heard of them before. but I'll check them out

Well, it was no Goodburger.

I just listened to the three songs on their myspace. I like what I've heard. The beginning of Holy Goodnight kind of reminds me of Dame Fate for some reason. I miss Dame Fate.
