Expanded Echo & The Bunnymen 'Best Of' gets US release
New 'Songs To Learn And Sing' also includes a DVD

The new version of Echo & The Bunnymen's 'Best Of' album 'Songs To Learn And Sing' is to get a US release.

The expanded and remastered version of the collection, released in the UK late last year, and will be released in the US on January 23.

'The Very Best Of Echo & The Bunnymen: More Songs To Learn And Sing' includes 20 tracks from 1980 to 2005 that span most of the Liverpool quartet's career.

The original version of the collection came out in 1985, at the height of the group's fame. The expanded disc features a selection of tracks the band have recorded since their 1997 reunion.

The package will also include a DVD containing eight videos, several of which were directed by renowned photographer and filmmaker Anton Corbjin.

The tracklisting is:

'Never Stop'
'Rescue'
'I Want To Be There (When You Come)'
'Don't Let It Get You Down'
'A Promise'

Good, because I stupidly sold the copy I had. I can justify re-buying it now.

Are any of their studio albums essential? All I've heard are the singles.
