I just listened to Self Titled and got a tiny bit excited about Garbage. But the last album was such an utter disappointment that I'm going to stop now. Don't want to hear a Shirls solo act, either. Considering the people she got to write with her. Yuk.

bring on the b-sides. i have most of them i think, but i'd like a proper package....and better quality.

who needs a compilation cd anyway. anyone who likes the band probably already has all if not most of the albums. i'd prefer a b-sides album but oh well.

agreed. i own all those songs on that tracklisting, so im not even gonna bother w/ it.

Compilations are meant for people just starting to get into a band and looking for a place to start. Not so much the fans who already have the albums. Although a lot of them will probably still buy it.

The labels are more interested in appealing to a large group of potential buyers than a relatively small group of core fans. Which is who would be buying the b-sides album.

The b-sides were supposed to be released after Version 2.0, which is probably the last time they were popular enough for such a project. As far as the label is concerned anyway.
