Kelly Osbourne Blamed Dad For Failure

Kelly Osbourne has gone on the record blaming the commercial failure of her 2005 album 'Sleeping in the Nothing' on her father.


"It's harder for me because people always think, 'Oh, she's Ozzy Osbourne's daughter - everything just gets handed to her.' To get the respect of one person I've got to work twice as hard." She told contactmusic.com.

"I'm really proud of my second album, I still think it's great. People didn't give it a chance. If it was released by someone else I think people would have loved it."

Some people would also suggest that if she wasn't the daughter of Ozzy, she wouldn't have a pop career at all.

no kidding. but i have to admit, i didn't mind a few of her songs.

but uuuuh lets see kelly, why not blame its failure on the fact that you went in to rehab AGAIN and couldn't promote it

oh i agree. but still she couldn't really expect to be taken seriously. i would've liked to have seen her go somewhere but there's no need for excuses.
