What do you all think of the Howling Bells?

I checked out their record and it sounds like an album that could have been HUGE around 94-95ish. It is pretty fantastic IMO. The lead singer's voice reminds me of the chick from Flyleaf.

I really like what I've heard.
They played at the venue behind my flat a month or two ago and I didn't know about it. Was gutted!
If you like Howling Bells have a listen to the Duke Spirit. I like them better

I used to think it was okay, but the more I listen to it the more it grows.

i agree that they could have come out in the nineties and they won't be noticed. the vocalist has a commanding voice though. i listened to this though and liked it, but i cannot remember a single song from the album now.
