I hate it when 'indie' (quotes because it's self-conscious indie types - "look at me I'm so indie!") types say they like this song to look...I don't know, open-minded about their music taste? When it just means that they in fact have shit music taste and are trying to hide it by saying they like British Sea Power.

Anyway, I'm sick of Elephant by the White Stripes and sadly, Happiness in Magazines by Graham Coxon. I lent the former to my brother who played it in his room with his stereo up to 11 every morning - that was enough to put me off. I lent the latter to my parents, who liked it so much they made copies for each car and played it on EVERY journey for months. Hopefully when I forget about that I'll be able to listen to it again, because it was one of my favourite albums before they got hold of it.
