Do you mean you are an afficienado and hoping someone can clue you in to an artist whose stuff you don't have? Or do you mean does anyone like jazz and who if so? I dabble but am by no mean an expert. I mostly like old jazz nothing much past '64. I do like Cassandra Wilson though.

I love Ella Fitzgerald and really enjoy John Coltrane, that's all the jazz I can talk about.

Coltrane is amazing but sometimes when he goes out there I can't keep up.
I like Ella but prefer Billie. Just personal preference - nothing to do with actual talent.

but the "out there" stuff is the best!

i do like ella and billy, but i don't know if i could pick. i probably like ella's voice more.

i don't really listen to much jazz, but as cliched as it is, i love dave brubeck quartet's "time out".
