Hey everyone... so the movie is finally completed!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope some of you read my threads last year, about Mia, and the movie and helped donate, to those of you who donated THANK YOU!! Now we have the opportunity to see the movie.
The Gits Movie will premier on Saturday May 28 at the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF) at the beautiful Egyptian Theater on Capitol Hill. There will be a second screening on Monday May 30. In August, The Gits Movie will screen at the "Don't Knock the Rock" music and alternative culture festival in Los Angeles.

wow, last night i was just thinking about what a great band the gits was and how i wondered if anyone remembered mia. i'm glad to hear about the movie being finished.

her voice is amazing. every time i hear it i get so disappointed she was taken so soon. so many people NEED to hear her.
