Thank you to who uploaded it for me. The guitars are very raw yet the songs are still very melodic. The lead singer's voice sounds like a rockier version of Amanda Palmer which I love. But this album is very, very good ... Too bad they're not discovered much in the states.
But they really are awesome. Their myspace has these songs that aren't on the cd ... One a Christmas song. They're really good. Does anyone kno wwhere these songs came from?
The lyrics are very enticing and coming of ageish is my opinion .... I mean it deals with growing up and romances and such. I really like this record a lot.

yeah, i have to say i was surprised by how much i liked it.

not as good as elastica's debut but it was good enough. i also was kind of disappointed by the noticeable shift to dark territory. in their singles, they had a blondie-esque sound, very chirpy and kind of retro. this one is more interpol-ish but still, it's good.

A masterpiece?

If you've heard like four records in your whole life maybe. I had high hopes for the Long Blondes. They have the looks but they don't have the smarts to live up to their heroes.

Like any other male with a pulse I would of course utterly ravage Kate Jackson.
