good old tapes

Do you still purchase tapes, enjoy listening to your old tapes, or make mix tapes?

Also (if you remember), what was the last tape you bought, and when did you buy it?

I think my last cassette was Beck's "Odelay" from 1995 - 1996...I still have all of my old tapes, every so often I bust them out and put all of my old, warped Wire tapes on...

there are still albums i only own on cassette. the smiths self-titled is one. and i think depeche mode's violator.

the last casette i bought was actually only about two or three years ago. i was in half price books (it's a small chain of used book/music/magazine stores) and found a cassette from some chinese pop singer (i don't know her name as i cannot read chinese) from at least the 70s. it was a dollar.
